I Wrote A Book

Hey y'all

I know it's been a long time since I've made one of these posts. I'm here with the good news that I've finally written a new book. It's a book that I've wanting to write for a long time. I've had the idea in my head for years, and I've started writing it several times, but I've never fully been able to get around to finishing it.

I'm going to keep this short because I still don't have a lot to talk about yet. The book is called "Rediscovering Reality" and it's about a man that believes he was hit by a car as a child and has been living his life in his subconscious. A year after the accident he starts writing blog posts, and money starts mysteriously showing up under his door. With the help of a Breakfast Club'esque group of friends our protagonist, Tom, tries to discover who has been giving him the money all of these years and why.

I've edited it as well as I can. I've done a couple rounds of edits and it's far from being perfect.

I want this book to be the best possible book that it can be. With that said, I am going to be attempting to raise funds to pay for Line Edits, Copy Edits, and to have a budget for overall marketing of the book once it's published.

I'm going to provide many many many more details tomorrow, but I wanted to go ahead and make this post so I could start getting word out. Tomorrow I hope to make a post with details on reward levels based on donation amounts as well as stretch goals. Right now I can go ahead and tell you that a $5 donation will get you a PDF copy of the book in its current state as well as a PDF copy of the book after the line edits and copy edits have been performed.

All of the donations will be collected through my Stream Elements Donation instead of an instablished crowd funding platform like Kickstarter so that I can provide live donation notifications and live goal updates while I'm streaming as well.

As of right now these are what the goals will be. As I mentioned, there will be more detailed information to come tomorrow.

• $1,000 Initial Goal

• $1,500 Stretch Goal to unlock character artwork and various other merchandise

• $2,000 Stretch Goal for more expensive editor (rate to be explicitly stated tomorrow)
