Campaign Rewards and Goals



I did a lot of thinking today about what the rewards and goals should be today. I obviously still had to work as well, but I also did a lot of thinking about what would be fun. I want the rewards and goals to both be fun. I want them to be enticing. I want them to be something that people get excited about. I would love to hear what your ideas for rewards and goals would be in the comments.


This is far from being an exhaustive list. I will add additional goals and rewards throughout the campaign depending on how the campaign is going. There is going to be no end date to the campaign. It will run until we at least hit our minimum target goal.


Rewards

Let's start off with the fun stuff: rewards. This is what you will get for the various different levels of donations. I want to keep adding to this list, but this is the list as of right now.


  • $5 - You get a PDF copy of the novel as it stands now and another PDF copy after the edits have been made.

  • $10 - You get all the above awards as well as a detailed write up of each character as well as my inspiration for each character.

  • $50 - You get all the above awards as well as your name in the acknowledgements section of the book

  • $100 - You get all the above awards as well as a signed softback copy of the book.

  • $200 - You get all of the above awards as well as a signed hardback copy of the book.

  • $300 - You get all of the above awards plus I will find a way to get a super fancy hadback version printed of the book and sign it for you

  • $500 - You get all of the above awards plus I will name a character after you and include it in my next novel.

  • $1,000 - You get all of the above awards plus I will write a dediced blog post about you and whatever you want me to include in the post, within reason obviously.


Goals

This is the amount of money that I need to make this happen, starting from the initial first goal to stretch goals. None of these are for individual contributions. This is an overall, accumulative amount accrued goal.


  • $1,000 - Hire an editor at .08/word + $500 for marketing

  • $2,500 - Hire an editor at $.025/word - $.030/word + $500 for marketing

  • $3,000 - This should give enough money for character art to be created and included as rewards. (I'm not going to do AI Gen character art. No thank you.)

  • $10,000 - I would plan a cool launch event or something. I'm not expecting this to happen, but you need to shoot for the stars right?

  • $25.000 - Tour and host signing events? Maybe?

  • $1,000,000 - Rediscovering Reality...The Movie...hahah. Just being silly. Really.
